I have to admit, as a mom of girls, it melts my heart to see these two sisters together. These images help tell the story of their friendship from the very beginning. Big sister {E} is only 2 years old, but already takes her job very seriously. It feels like yesterday when I was photographing her newborn session! Time really needs to slow down a bit and let these babies stay babies for just a little bit longer.
Baby {A} slept like an angel. She had just the right amount of milk to fall asleep (and blew a few bubbles during her slumber!) The photo of the milk bubble actually won 7th place out of 29,560 entries in an international photo competition (Shoot & Share). I would love to take credit for this but the award really belongs to baby {A}!

Tell me about the decor in your baby’s nursery.
We just wanted to keep it light and sweet! It is shared with the guest room so we had to keep that in mind.
Was there anything you were nervous or worried about before your session?
We were worried that our 2 year old would not cooperate but you were awesome with her!!! Everything went great except for Ansley not wanting to sleep for the posed newborn shots then ending the session with a bang by pooping on the carpet!!
Do you have any advice for other families preparing for an in-home newborn session?
Try to relax because you take care of everything and make it so easy and stress free!
What do you hope your daughters will say years down the road when looking at these images?
I hope that they see how much love we have and how happy Emerson was to show off her baby sister!
What was your favorite part of the experience?
Just watching Emerson be silly and watching you do the posed shots of Ansley! So sweet!! It was so hard to just pick some of them and not all! You are so great to work with and take awesome photos! Thank you so much for making the session so easy and stress free!! You’re the best!
