For the comfort and safety of baby and tired parents, most newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home. I bring in all of the necessary blankets and a posing bean bag for baby’s sleeping portraits, if desired. If an in-home session is not desired, I have a small home studio in Mount Pleasant for newborn and milestone sessions.

Sessions normally take place when baby is 7-14 days old for the best opportunity to capture sleepy newborn portraits.

As soon as you are ready. I only photograph 4 newborns per month, based on due date, and not actual birth date. This way, I can be as flexible as possible with arrival times and deliver the best service possible to every client.

Please do not worry about having a "magazine-ready" house. If you would like lifestyle images that showcase certain areas of your home or nursery, they can be staged fairly quickly. We will discuss this during your pre-session consultation.

All immediate family members (including pets) are included in the session at no additional charge.

Within 2 weeks of your session, you will receive a proofing gallery of images to select your favorites to be fine-tuned and prepared for archival printing. Once your images have been selected, expect your digital images to be ready within 1 week and your prints/albums to arrive within 2 weeks. The number of images depends on your package selection.
